What has been the best part of 2017 for you?

The best part of 2017 was I liked going to konini lodge on camp because i liked going to the rock pools.

What is something you have been proud of in 2017?

I am proud of the pig hunt because i came first in the big three.

Bike safety

Goal-recount what you learnt at bike safety

-Use full stops and capital letters

At toko on the 7th of november we did bike safety with senior jono, all of year 4 and down did it.

First jono came in to the class and talked about all of the parts on the bike, he told us how to tighten your helmet up.

Then we went out onto the  court  and checked our helmets and looked out how to do power starts.

Next we went on to the course  and i was the first togo he had to give way and we had to go around a roundabout and we even had a bridge it was fun.

Finally we went down to  the back field  and did some races  first it was the slow race i think i came 3rd in one then it was the fast  races i came 5th in one of them it was really fun.

Business Reflection

Over the last week or so we have been researching and looking at websites about our business. My group has been looking at making youtube videos. I have learned that you need good video people and people that know their sheets very well. We have decided that we will work together as a whole class to use personal best to work at business so we can get further. We will be trying to sell chickens,make graphs, make grain,make compost,building nesting boxes and growing food.

My fraction is one eighth. 

I now my answer is correct because there is one whole and i cut it in to eighth peices and then i took 1 piece away so it is 1 eighth.

Robot Rampage

Goal -put full stops in the right places.

Hemi had to do a job  but he hated it . He had to do lawn mowing. He would rather make an invention in his shed, then an idea popped into his  head. “I could make an invention.” He battled and bunked trying to find the right  pieces finally he found a pair of scissors a nose hair trimmer,  a laser light, 4 steak knives, a computer a blender and  some guitar strings to tie it all together. He stayed in the garage all night making his invention. In the morning he wheeled his invention in to the long grass he pushed the big green button and zoom off it goes cutting all of the grass. Then he sat down and grabbed a lemonade. Nek minute he is falling asleep why to be woken by a furious in coming crowd. His robot was nowhere to be seen. He walked out and saw people bleeding thumbless then there was his robot cutting down all of the trees and buildings. Soon it would be flat but he did not want it like that he ran after it and he finally caught it. He hit the big red button he killed it he was a champion.

Riley- yeah hope you enjoy it we will show you around our crazy enviro school  but our channel is mostly  based on chickens.

Maddy- So first up is Leslie  in front of our awesome enviro stand.

we sell  jams , Worm tea , eggs, lavender bags and you  put your money here and grab what you want and back to you Maddy and Riley

Riley- Now we go to the vireo stand  because we are going to interview the people who take shifts for sustainable backyards

riley - thank you maddy know you should know a little bit about them

Maddy -  so if you are wondering what stable backyard is when visitors come from all over the world to vist our school we give free tours and they can buy stuff from the stand

Riley - so know we are going to the chicken coop for a tour

Maddy- hello this is our chicken coop / describe the coop

Riley - that was so good wait a minute have you got chickens you should go buy some chicken so we will see you after the break.

Maddy’s ad - Hey have you got chickens, well i got that sorted here is some reasons you should buy some chickens                                                     

1. They give you fresh egg’s
2. They are friendly
3. You can have fun learning the names
4. You can hug them

You can collect the poop and turn it into compost or fertilizer

Goal-produce a piece of art using mixed media.

What i did- First we painted the back of it with water paint, then we drew a tree and painted it. Then we drew on the leaves and then we did touch ups.
