What has been the best part of 2017 for you?

The best part of 2017 was I liked going to konini lodge on camp because i liked going to the rock pools.

What is something you have been proud of in 2017?

I am proud of the pig hunt because i came first in the big three.

Bike safety

Goal-recount what you learnt at bike safety

-Use full stops and capital letters

At toko on the 7th of november we did bike safety with senior jono, all of year 4 and down did it.

First jono came in to the class and talked about all of the parts on the bike, he told us how to tighten your helmet up.

Then we went out onto the  court  and checked our helmets and looked out how to do power starts.

Next we went on to the course  and i was the first togo he had to give way and we had to go around a roundabout and we even had a bridge it was fun.

Finally we went down to  the back field  and did some races  first it was the slow race i think i came 3rd in one then it was the fast  races i came 5th in one of them it was really fun.

Business Reflection

Over the last week or so we have been researching and looking at websites about our business. My group has been looking at making youtube videos. I have learned that you need good video people and people that know their sheets very well. We have decided that we will work together as a whole class to use personal best to work at business so we can get further. We will be trying to sell chickens,make graphs, make grain,make compost,building nesting boxes and growing food.

I now my answer is correct because there is one whole and i cut it in to eighth peices and then i took 1 piece away so it is 1 eighth.

Robot Rampage

Goal -put full stops in the right places.

Hemi had to do a job  but he hated it . He had to do lawn mowing. He would rather make an invention in his shed, then an idea popped into his  head. “I could make an invention.” He battled and bunked trying to find the right  pieces finally he found a pair of scissors a nose hair trimmer,  a laser light, 4 steak knives, a computer a blender and  some guitar strings to tie it all together. He stayed in the garage all night making his invention. In the morning he wheeled his invention in to the long grass he pushed the big green button and zoom off it goes cutting all of the grass. Then he sat down and grabbed a lemonade. Nek minute he is falling asleep why to be woken by a furious in coming crowd. His robot was nowhere to be seen. He walked out and saw people bleeding thumbless then there was his robot cutting down all of the trees and buildings. Soon it would be flat but he did not want it like that he ran after it and he finally caught it. He hit the big red button he killed it he was a champion.

Riley - that was so good wait a minute have you got chickens you should go buy some chicken so we will see you after the break.

What i did- First we painted the back of it with water paint, then we drew a tree and painted it. Then we drew on the leaves and then we did touch ups.

Big vs Bigger - Complete story from Ministry of Education on V

W,A,L,T,-Retell stories in our own words.

Sean was the biggest bully in Weirdoville. He was really weird. Once Big Sean lifted a bus,because he is the size of a bus. Then he shook the bus and all the kids fell out and he grabbed Jono by the leg Sean said "have you brought lunch for me". Jono said "you can have my chicken nuggets" then Big Steve came. Big Steve yelled, "Big Steve wants the chicken nuggets." Sean ate the chicken nuggets then Big Steve got ferocious. Big Steve poured paint on big Sean , it was time for the little kids to fight back. They ordered a special delivery it was a super in inflatable chicken nuggets. They delivered them to Steve and Sean in two seconds.They started to eat the chicken nuggets and then they started blowing up into space. In no time they were trying to pop themselves in space. They went in to the satellite and popped themselves then they were the size of the other kids then before they went and played another big kid moved in called Big Stuart.‍...

What i did: This year I did a rock art eel. First we had to choose a rock to draw on then Mrs Fergus spray painted them all, then I had to find a picture of an eel. I drew on my rock, then the next day we coloured them in with very special felts.

What I would change: I would change the size of my eel.

When frankenstein was just a kid

He ate up all his greens .it's true he did

He ate his spinach,,salads,peas,

Asparagus,and food like these,

And with each leaf and lima bean

His skin turned a bit more green.

On chives and chard he loved to chew,

And brussels sprouts and peppers too

Until he ate that fateful bean

That turned his skin completely green

He turned all green, and stayed that way

And now he frightens folks away.

Poor frankenstein,his tale is sad,

but things need not have been so bad,

It's fair to say, if only he

 had eaten much less celery,

avoided cabbage, ate no kale,

Why then we’d have a different tale

So mom and dad i’m here to say

Please take these vegetables away

Or my fate could be just as grim

Yes i could end up green like him .

Pimple problem

I had a little problem

It give me quite a scare

I looked into the mirror

And  saw a pimple there

 

That Pimple was enormous

and growing on my nose

And redder than a rose

I knew my friends would notice

I thought  they would stare

I figured that they would laugh at me

To see that pimple they

So that's when I decided

I decided I would give them a surprise

I grabbed a pen  and drew on it

Two tiny little eyes   

I drew a nose a mouth tow ears

A mustache and a bread

To make my pimple obvious

And wonderful and weird  

My drawing was a winner

And a hit with every friend

Now painting on your pimples

Is the hottest fashion trend.

I came to school on  a hot morning and i paused i walked into the class and i heard a noise,it sounded like a chicken chirping .I went over to the incubator there was chickens. Feelings-i felt so happy.

The next day i came in there was 5 chickens in the brooder box and 3 in the incubator.3 are orange ones ,2 are yellow ones,1 grey one ,two black ones and one has 3 strips down its back. One has has white stripes down its back . Feelings-i felt heaps more excited.


Finally we are going to name the chickens ,it is going to be fun .My one has two big spots ,one on its back and one on its head. Feelings -I feel so excited to name the chickens.

On the last day of July Mr Dillon brought in the eggs and we put them in the incubator.  My number is number 17. Feelings-i felt so so so so excited. Thoughts-I thought that no eggs were going to crack.


It had been 5 days we were all excited. Now it had been 10 days . I said to myself when are these eggs going to hatch. 15 days in, when are these eggs going to hatch? On the 17 day in this is taking a while.


We are all looking forward to play with all of chickens. I think i am going to name my one bulls-eye. I'm worried that some of them are not going to be cute. I can not wait.

Middle-If You don't it Will be sad for us because they are yummy.

End-these eggs are free range amazingly yummy eggs. They start at 2.50 then 5.00 so they are pretty cheap.

What-On Thursday we went in to mrs Starks class and did slides. Ours was called pythons.

So what-I want to know if any of the Crowley cup teams got through.

Guess what-We finished our python slide.Andthat the python is the biggest snake in the world.

my reading because i was not the best at it.

What-this week we cleaned the chicken coop.I did not help because I could not be bothered so I went and played bull rush instead.

So what-we are going to try keep it clean and make shoor it doesn't get as dirty.

Guess what-we might be having chickens and smokey might be dying.

Camp recount.

It was Monday 27 th march 2017 we were going up to konini lodge.Everyu body was hoping around like little bunnies in the cars.when we got there we got in to jackets because it was drilling.



Then we started the walk.Me,Jared,whilliam, and Sam was up the front just behind Mr Dillon.When we got up to the look out we could see wilkes pools and the bridge.So we kept walking.finally we got there.We started to play on the rocks,then William and I up as high as we could go.



Then we had to go back through Goblin forest. I felt really about it.

Week 7 Reflection.

WHAT-last week we started to do our new tryathlon practice.

SO WHAT-I need to practice my swimming to come first.

GUESS WHAT- we have to bike down to the gravel two times.
